LET US GIVE SMILE TO THE LESS- PRIVILEGED

I bring to you greetings from the pathfinders!
The pathfinders is a non-governmental and non-profit missionary organization that is poised to make a headway in reducing the sufferings of the less privileged, destitute as well as the motherless in this fast changing global community starting with Africa.

The organization was formed in 1992 by dutiful and doting missionaries from various parts of the United Kingdom and Africa under the tutelage of late Rev Canon Thomas P. R. Kenny and his lovely wife Kathy from Belfast, UK. They had visions of spreading their message of humanitarianism and philanthropy endlessly to the utmost parts of the world especially to the helpless, hopeless and the diseased.

The idea is to make almost every one in the world to have a heart to “show care for love”. Consequently, these reverend gentlemen together with their wives as well as their entire family lived a live full of selfless services to the communities they found themselves in. Most of them who had more than they needed for a lifetime expressed their lovely gesture through their wills which they made in favor of some beneficiaries across the globe.

Over the years, courtesy charitable donors, the organization had fully participated in various charitable works such as -
Donating Anti Retro Viral (ARV) Drugs to HIV/AIDS patience within reach
Mosquito nets and anti malarial drugs
Food and Clothing relief
And cash donations to patience and victims of disastrous accidents in some selected areas across the globe.

Furthermore, the organization is currently embarking on the provision of good drinking water by provision of bore holes in some selected remote areas in Africa such as Nigeria Chad etc,. There is also a campaign against the fast spread of the HIV/AIDS in those remote areas due to ignorance. Following the scourge of high mortality rate geared by the malaria attack, the organization had also joined hands with some few consistent organizations that are already in the roll-back malaria programs for the distribution of mosquito nets, drugs, vaccines, relief etc in order to make the programs a reality.

Most times we did these things without sounding the trumpets as we had followed the biblical injunction which says thus in Matt 6:2-4
"So when you give to the needy, do not announce it with trumpets, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and on the streets, to be honored by men. I tell you the truth; they have received their reward in full. But when you give to the needy, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, so that your giving may be in secret. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you”.

The very few people who took over from the pioneers of this philanthropic club had moved a step further to get the interest of good spirited individuals like you to join the bandwagon of volunteers and our affiliates for we believe you understand the true meaning of “caring with agape love” as stated in the Holy Bible thus:
“Love is like oil to the wheels of obedience. It enables us to run the way of God's commandments (Ps 119:32). Without such love, we are as nothing” (1 Cor 13:3).
“Such Spirit-inspired love never fails (1 Cor 13:8) but always flourishes.

Agape love conveys God's will to His children about their attitude toward one another. Love for one another was a proof to the world of true discipleship (John 13:34-35).
Therefore, we solicit for your doting support which could be either:
Voluntary membership: This also makes you a convener.
Cash donations: this acts as the life wire to the programs of the organization.
As we source for fund to the tune of US$3,000.000.00 (three million US dollars) to accomplish our goal. We recommend that you always remember that nothing given to the underprivileged is too small. We solicit that you pass this message across to your congregation, neighbors and friends and motivate them to join. We are also seeking partners who would assist in all our programs. All is to make the society where there are more less-privileged to have life. I really hope that this will meet your humane interest.

We therefore ask for your benevolence as you react to this call to “Save a Soul”. Let’s help and make the world a better place for you and for me. For the words of Jesus Christ says:
“I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.'” Matt 25:36
with faith and full trust that you are a Christian, we are looking forward to hearing the voice of love which you have in your heart as well as seeing the sign of benevolence through your gift to the needy.

Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal.
And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing.
And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity, it profits me nothing.
Charity suffers long, and is kind; charity envies not; charity parades not itself, is not puffed up,
Does not behave itself unseemly, seek not her own, is not easily provoked, thinks no evil;
Rejoices not in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth;
Bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
Charity never fails: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away...And now abides faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity. (1 Cor 13:1-14:1 KJV)
